The Tower is a vertical unit with attachments that use spring resistance for the arms and legs as well as a push through and roll back bar. The tower can be used to either assist a challenging move or to enhance exercises to experience a deeper understanding of the body’s powerhouse. A full body workout can be achieved in both the vertical and horizontal planes enhancing both control and balance throughout the workout.
The foam arc is a dense foam apparatus also known as the spine corrector. Its curved surface provides variety and challenge to a workout as you work with or against gravity.
This class will combine the tower and the arc using one or both pieces of equipment for a full body workout progressing in challenges as your body strengthens. The classes are small so each person will work at their own pace with individual assistance provided as needed.
A good understanding of Mat Pilates is recommended in order to get the most out of this class.
